Science Kids: Explore

Science Kids: Explore, is a childrens' book co-written by myself and acclaimed scientist/documentarian Alex Rivest, to help children discover that science is just an extension of their natural curiosity, and that there is no limit to what can be learned if you follow that curiosity.

We wanted an accessible, hand drawn quality to the illustrations, featuring a diverse cast of children engaging in a wide range of scientific exploration and discovery. The drawings had to create the same comforting feeling in the face of scientific and intellectual curiosity that the words attempted to capture.

The book is still awaiting publication, but is intended to be the first in a long-running series to make scientific curiosity accessible and exciting to kids.
